  1. How can Nigerians assist NEMA? The reports reaching us Nigerians in the U.S. suggest our government is overwhelmed by the scale of the Boko Haram crisis. We are not faulting the efforts, however government should put in place appropriate mechanisms and then invite all well meaning people to contribute in cash or kind. Even the U.D. government appeals for help in disasters such as this. What is the fate of the externally displaced IDP’s like the thousands in Chad? We must all contribute to send them relief.

  2. Please,

I don’t mind if my email address or name is published–I am a Nigerian. It breaks my heart to witness the sufferings of the casualties of these misguided so-called Jihadists. I also feel sorry for them. I am a devout Christian that loves Muslims alike. When I attended secondary school, some of my best friends were Muslim Northerners and they were among the most humble, kind, and disciplined students there in Federal Government College Warri. It’s time for all Nigerians to join forces in a heartfelt attempt to resolve this crisis. The struggle for who occupies Aso Rock is not worth innocent blood. It’s also time for us to fast and pray.
