In continuation of the reception of returnees, the National Emergency Management Agency Kano Operations Office supported the reception of 148 Nigerian returnees from Agadez, Niger Republic, on June 30 2025, approximately 1255 hours. The returnees arrived at Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) on Air Sky Mali.
Below is the demographic breakdown of the returnees:
- 69 adult males
- 35 adult females
- 16 male children
- 28 female children
Upon arrival, the returnees were conveyed to Hajj Terminal Cargo of MAKIA, where biometric registration and documentation were done, and they were provided with necessary support, including:
- Food and water
- Medical assistance
- Ambulance services
- Luggage handling
- Logistics support, etc
