About 300 Households aftermath of Armed Banditry attacks received Federal Government approved relief materials in Kurfi and Dutsinma in Katsina state.
The Federal Government Support comprising of Food, Non Food items and Building materials was facilitated by the Honorable Member Representing Dutsinma/ Kurfi Federal Constituency in Katsina.
The relief materials was presented by the Director General, NEMA, Mustapha Habib Ahmed to the Honourable Member on behalf of the beneficiaries.
The Zonal Coordinator, NEMA NWZ, Alhaji Abbani Imam Garki who represented the Director General sympathised with the victims and prayed for a lasting peace in the area. He however urged the beneficiaries to make use of the relief items appropriately.
Other stakeholders who spoke during the symbolic presentation for onward direct distribution to the affected persons commended and appreciated NEMA for the timely, prompt and continuous support.
The exercise was concluded successfully with a closing prayers for restoration of peace in the affected places.
