The items which included rice, beans, maize, Vegetable oil and seasoning were distributed in collaboration with Enugu State Emergency Management Agency, ENSEMA and the community leaders.
The Igwe of the community, HRH Igwe John Azubuike Ibe on behalf of the community expressed their appreciation to the Federal government and the Director General of NEMA for the intervention.
In his address, the Zonal Coordinator, Mr. Thickman Tanimu, who presented the relief material on behalf of the DG, commiserated with the victims of the unfortunate incident over their losses and advised them on the need to be more proactive and cautious of activities that could lead to disasters.
