Officials of NEMA Kano Territorial office were at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) on the 28th day of March, 2023 to receive the 147 returnees who came by Air from NIAMEY, Niger Republic.
The movement was facilitated by the International Organization for migration (IOM), the returnees comprises: 63 Male Adult, 28 Female Adult, 25 Male Children and 31 Female Children.
Stakeholders in attendance includes: NEMA, IOM, ,NSCDC, DSS, Red Cross, NAPTIPS, volunteer Doctors, National Refugee commission etc.
