The NEMA South West Zonal Office received a distress alert at about 6.00pm Saturday 22nd April,2023 of a collapsed building at Nigeria Police Barrack block 11,Sango, Ibadan.
2. The Zonal Coordinator Swiftly activated NEMA Emergency Response Team,The Federal and State Fire Service and other response Agencies to the scene of incident
3. The Zonal Coordinator coordinated the rescue operation and the evacuation of the building and the surrounding buildings.
4. No casualty was recorded at the scene,2 storey building collapsed with a total of 28 flats was affected. Over 168 persons displaced.
