This exercise brought together government officials and relief agencies to discuss emergency systems and procedures, focusing on the 2022 flood disaster. The aim was to evaluate Nigeria’s emergency response structures and enhance collective learning.
Active participation from NEMA staff ensured comprehensive guidance for all local government representatives. The World Bank remains committed to supporting Nigeria in strengthening emergency response capabilities.
