The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Abuja Operations Office participated in a joint assessment flag-off of flood Hot spots in the FCT organized by the FCT Emergency Management Agency on the 21st May 2024.
The program was aimed at assessing some flash point locations that are prone to flooding and also sensitize communities/residents at Dogon-gada, EFAB Lokogoma and Galadimawa axis. This will enable them to become more cautious during the rainy season and not to engage in activities that will expose residents to Flood Risk. It will also reduce their vulnerability
