The South-South Zonal Acting Director Mr. Walson Brandon Ibarakumo pays a familiarisation visit to
Edo Operations Office.
He was welcomed by the Head of Operations Mr. Dahiru Yusuf.
In a brief introduction, the Head of Operations said that the Acting Zonal Director was back to his base where he was once the NEMA Edo Head of Operations, and he was familiar with most of the staff.
In his remark, the Acting Zonal Director thanked the Head of Operations and staff for the warm reception accorded him. He said that he was back in a familiar terrain as he was here some years ago.
He admonished the staff to re-dedicate themselves to work diligently and promote the values of the Agency.
He further stated that he would continue to pay routine visits to the office and states under his purview. Furthermore, he said he would present the challenges of the office to the appropriate quarters for quick intervention.
The Acting Zonal Director also paid a courtesy visit to the Director Edo State Emergency Management Agency where the Director Mrs. Helen Obayuwana welcomed him to her office. She presented a plethora of requests to the Acting Zonal Director.
While at the visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Public Security and Safety, he was warmly welcomed by the Commissioner Mr. Kingsley Uwagbale. He appealed to the Acting Zonal Director for capacity building of SEMA staff. He stated that he is ready to partner with NEMA in any programme the Agency needs collaboration.
