The NEMA North West Zonal Office distributed relief materials to over 550 households affected by an armed banditry attack and kidnapping in Bakori Local Government Area, Katsina State. The relief items, approved by the federal government, included food supplies like rice, maize, and vegetable oil, as well as non-food items such as clothing, mattresses, and household essentials. The distribution was led by the Zonal Coordinator, Abbani Imam Gark, who handed the items to Hon. Abdullahi Balarabe Dabai, representing Bakori/Danja Federal Constituency. Both officials expressed their support and condolences to the affected communities, while the Village Head of Guga, Mallam Umar Bala Muhammad, thanked NEMA for their timely assistance.
