A combined team of NEMA and Kano State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) officers did an on-the-spot assessment of areas affected by rainstorm and windstorm in Wudil and Darki Communities of Kano State.
The incident occured on 3rd July, 2023, Heavy Downpour accompanied with windstorm resulted in the displacement of 85 persons in Darki and Achika wards of Wudil LGA, Kano State. A total number of 1,520 Pearson were affected, 4 person sustained various degree of injuries and 1 life was lost
