Head of Operations, NEMA, MOO, Haj. Zainab S. Saidu called on Non-Governmental Organizations engaged in humanitarian affairs in Niger State to work closely with NEMA.
The Head of Operations while speaking in a one-day Meeting Organised by the Agency to create a viable working synergy with the NGOs encouraged the voluntary Organizations to share data with NEMA and also acquaint themselves with the agency to avoid replication of responsibility and ensure progress in the course of Disaster Management in the State.
The meeting was interactive as representatives of NGOs present took turns to share their experiences on the field and also their challenges.
Other Stakeholder Organisations like the Nigeria Police Force, NSCDC, Airforce Quick Response Force, NSEMA, Traditional leaders amongst others were also present and offered their contributions to issues raised by the NGOs.
