A team of NEMA staff patrolled major routes in Sokoto State today to assist in a concerted efforts towards ensuring prompt response in the case of any incident and also ensuring safety on the roads as people begin to return from holidays.
The roads covered by the team include the 3 major routes, Sokoto-Gusau, Sokoto-Birnin/Kebbi and Usman Dan Fodio University roads.
The exercise was carried out with the 2 operational vehicles (MICU and IRV) in the company of other stakeholders involved in keeping the roads safe.
