The second coordinators’ conference in preparation for the upcoming flood disaster response simulation exercise (SIMEX) was held on Friday, 13th June 2025. The meeting focused on finalizing arrangements for Exercise “IDE MMIRI ODACHI” — which translates to “Flood Disaster” in English — scheduled to take place from 18th to 21st June 2025 in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State. Discussions also included the confirmatory reconnaissance mission in Kano State. The conference was attended by directors from key departments involved in coordinating the simulation exercises
