The newly appointed Zonal Director of the North Central Zone of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Bashir Idris Garga on 15 February 2024 assumed dudy and had meeting with staff in the headquarters office in Jos.
He was warmly received by the Zonal Coordinator mr Eugene Nyelong and the entire staff of the zone. In his remarks, the Director pledged to make the Zonal office better and emphasized his readiness to work with every staff.
The Zonal Director applauded the Director General of the Agency Alh Mustapha Habib for his administrative creativity of creating the offices of Zonal Directors all over the zones in the country.
The Director was later carried round by the Coordinator and the staff of the office to inspect the assets and equipment available in the Zone.
Earlier in his remarks. the Zonal Coordinator mr Eugene Nyelong said the zone was delighted to receive him and ready to tap from the Director’s wealth of experience.
