In a bid to create awareness down to the community level the NEMA Kano Territorial Office organized a one-day training aimed at equipping EMVs with the relevant knowledge of Disaster Management.
The presentations were in four phases:
1. The Evolution of NEMA by Suleiman Sa’ad Abubakar
2. Basic Concept of Disaster Management by Mujittapha Magaji Idris
3. Search and Rescue Operation Procedures by Aliyu Ibrahim
4. Presentation and Demonstration of Search and Rescue Equipments by Abdulhadi Tukur
