PRESENTATION OF RELIEF MATERIALS AND MEDICAMENT TO VICTIMS OF BOAT MISHAPS IN ADAMAWA STATE

Nema Yola Operations Office presented relief materials to the victim of recent boat mishaps in Anguwan Juwa and Rugange communities in Yola South Local Government, Adamawa State.

Under the guidance and approval of the Director General of NEMA, Mustapha Habib Ahmed. essential medicaments and relief items have been allocated to 19 households who were impacted by this unfortunate incident. Acknowledging the urgency of the situation.

The head of Nema Yola Operations office Mr. Ladan Ayuba presented the relief items to the Executive Secretary of Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (ADSEMA) Dr. Aminu Sulaiman at the local government secretariat in yola South.

The provision of these relief items aims to alleviate the suffering and assist the affected households in their journey towards recovery.

NEMA understands the critical need for immediate support during such challenging times and remains committed to ensuring the well-being and safety of the community.

Dr. Sulaiman. who received the items on behalf of the state government expressed gratitude for the Federal Government’s prompt assistance.

The items were handed over to the local government chairman, Engr. Hamidu Mohammed, through Council secretary Mal Usman Garbati, for onward distribution to the affected victims.
