As preparation gears towards the 2023 General Elections, the Kaduna State University (KASU) has pledged to support NEMA NWZ to enlighten and sensitize the Public on a hitch free 2023 General Elections.
This was discussed during a courtesy visit by officials of NEMA NWZ led by the Zonal Coordinator, Abbani Imam Garki to the Vice Chancellor Kaduna State University (NEMA), Professor Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa in his office.
The Tertiary Institution in its capacity promised to provide all required and necessary tools at disposal to collaborate with the agency for a successful election exercise.
The Zonal Coordinator and the Vice Chancellor discussed extensively on the importance of the need to educate people most especially the youths on dangers of violence during elections period.
The vice chancellor further acknowledge and commended NEMA’s foresight in discharging its mandated responsibilities of managing disaster in the country.
