The Director General NEMA Mustapha Habib Ahmed today received a delegation from King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), Saudi Arabia.
The delegation led by Mr Fahad Naif Aldawardi arrived from Saudi Arabia with a cheering news that KSrelief has approved another round of 5606 food baskets for Internally Displaced Persons and indigent Persons for NEMA to distribute directly to the target beneficiaries in Adamawa State.
Mr Aldawardi said the gesture was approved on behalf of the King of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Majesty King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince who is also the Prime Minister Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.
Responding, DG NEMA Mustapha Habib Ahmed appreciated His Majesty King Salman and the Government of Saudi Arabia for the gesture and other previous supports extended to the Agency and IDPs in Nigeria. He assured that the items will be diligently distributed in line with specific provision of the project’s implementation.
The Director Special Duties Hajiya Fatima Suleiman Kasim, Legal Advisor Barrister Lawal Hassan joined the DG NEMA in receiving the Saudi Arabian delegation.
