NEMA Owerri Operations Office distributed relief items to victims of Fire disaster at Nkwerre LGA of Imo State. The Head of Operations Mr Igwe Nnamdi was represented by Mr. Oramalu Quintus who in his speech commiserated with the victims and also appealed that safe practices be followed at homes and business environments to avoid fire outbreak and other related disasters.
The Sole Administrator of Nkwerre LGA thanked the DG NEMA for listening to the yearnings of his people. He also applauded Hon. Ted Ojukwu representing Nkwerre LGA in the Imo State House of Assembly who called the attention of NEMA to the disaster and the inherent plight of the disaster victims in his constituent.
