The NEMA South West Zonal Office(SWZO) in collaboration with Oyo State Emergency Management Agency (Oyo SEMA) conducted a Post disaster assessment of Fire incident at Badmus area , Ojo-Iwo road Ibadan Akinyele LGA of Oyo State on 5th February,2024
The fire incident which occured on 3rd of February, 2024 as a result of gas leak from a welding workshop affected 6 trailers, over 10 shop, 1 electric pole, 1 death and a total of 4 casulties were recorded and are currently receiving treatment at UCH Ibadan.
The representative of the Chairman Mr. Ahmed Adeoye appreciated the team for the timely response and appeal to the Federal and State Government to come to their aid.The assessment was successfully conducted by NEMA and Oyo SEMA Officials
