Bashir Idris Garga, the recently appointed Zonal Director of NEMA North Central zone, conducted a working visit to the Minna operations office. During the visit, he engaged with the operations office staff and met with the chairman and officials of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency.
Discussions focused on the challenges and issues related to emergency management in their jurisdiction. Following this, the zonal director led the team on a courtesy call to the Executive Governor of Niger State, Alh Umar Muhammad Bago.
The Governor expressed appreciation for NEMA’s swift response to disasters nationwide under the leadership of DG Mustapha Habib Ahmed. Additionally, the zonal director inspected the equipment holdings of the operations office and assessed the agency’s warehouse.
