NEMA South South Zonal Office carried out a one-day capacity building for members of the Nigerian Red Cross Society, Ikwerre Division on Emergency Search and Rescue. The event which was the 15th Annual First Aid Training Camp 2023 had its theme as “Everything We Do Comes From The Heart”.
The NEMA team was led by Fortunatus Anyanwu (ACSARO) Head, SAR Unit of the zone. The event is in line with the Agency’s mandate to monitor the state of preparedness of stakeholders and to build the capacity of same for response. Earlier, the Divisional Coordinator Mrs. Blessing Ukpabi and the Secretary Miss. Onyinyechi Asogu thanked NEMA for the collaboration and assured that knowledge gained will assist them on their job.
