NEMA South East Zonal office in collaboration with ANSEMA. Red Cross Society, and Construction Companies continued the search and rescue operations today 28th February 2024 with a view to rescue more people.
The NEMA team was seen coordinating the search and rescue operations.
Again, the NEMA team was supporting in cutting rods and creating openings for easy search and rescue.
However, no additional body was recovered as at the time of this report.
The Chairman of Onitsha South LGA Anambra State was physically present to monitor the operations and he applauded the efforts of all stakeholders present.
