NEMA Gombe Operations Office flagged off distribution of grains to vulnerables in Bauchi state. The exercise started with pre- distribution meeting with officials from SEMA Bauchi, Representative of the distinguished senator Lawal Yahya Gumau (Bauchi South), Representative of Senator Halliru Jika( Bauchi Central),Representative of Senator Bulkachuwa Adamu Mohammed ( Bauchi North), Representative of Minister of State For Industry trade and investment, Hajiya Mariam Katagum, the Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN), The Nigerian Red Cross Society and officials from NEMA Gombe Operations Office. The meeting held at SEMA Bauchi.
Distribution of grains started Immediately after the meeting at SEMA Bauchi warehouse.
Stakeholders extends their appreciations to the Federal Government and to NEMA DG.
The exercise was conducted peacefully.
