Nigeria Airforce Aircraft Donnier 228 Crash in Kaduna

A Nigeria Airforce aircraft Donnier 228 having took off this early morning crashed at the Nigeria Defence Academy, Kaduna old site killing about 7 people on board including the pilot.

The incident occurred some few minutes after the Aircraft enroute Abuja took off from the old (Dana) Airport, Kaduna at about 06:47am today.

NEMA officials alongside other rescue workers coordinated and carried out search and rescue operations to evacuate the victims.

The aircraft crashed into a residential house at NDA quarters. No casualty recorded in the house.

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Sadiq Abubakar also visited the scene few hours after the crash.
