NEMA Uyo Operations office visited the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) in Calabar for better engagement and collaboration. The Head of Operations, Mrs. Mmandu Aisueni, conveyed the Director General’s regards and appreciated the existing synergy between NEMA and NIS, particularly in immigrant profiling and security. She highlighted the importance of border security and requested further collaboration in intelligence sharing, operational support, and capacity building. The State Comptroller, P.C. Ogbodo, expressed appreciation for the visit, pledged support in security and intelligence, and proposed joint training for both organizations. The meeting concluded with the presentation of the 2023-2025 National Contingency Plan and group photographs.
