NEMA Lagos Territorial Office delivered a paper on Search, Rescue and Evacuation Procedures in Emergency response with practical demonstration at a two day workshop organised by the Emergency, Crisis and disaster Risk Management Institute at Chivita Training Centre, Ajao Estate, Lagos on 17th May, 2024.
The presentation touched on Search and Rescue, its significance and phases, Evacuation and Evacuation Plan/Activities.
The objective of the lecture was to expose participants to practical SAR activities, and improve their response capabilities thereby making them better prepared to face emergencies.
