NEMA Gombe Operations office in collaboration with Gombe state Emergency Management Agency and other Critical stakeholders Oganized a one day Coordination Meeting on the “Overview of 2024 Annual Climate Prediction and Role of Stakeholders on Flood Prevention and mitigation “
Following the release of 2024 annual climate prediction by NIMET and NIHSA, all the critical stakeholders were invited to brainstorm as well as play their role in sending out information to grassroot, so that adequate measures will be taken by all and creat awareness to reduce the level of vulnerability.
Stakeholders in attendance inludes: Nimet,NiHSA,Fire service, Ministry of Health, FRSC,Nigeria police, GEVC, SEMA among others.
