The Director, NEMA Northwest Zone, *Mal. Sani Lokoja*, accompanied by the Head of Operations Office, Kaduna, *Mal. Suleiman Muhammad, * paid a courtesy visit to the Commanding Officer, 2 Battalion Nigeria Army, Lt. Col. Abdulkadiri Abdullahi, at the Nigeria Defense Academy (NDA) Old site in Kaduna.
The meeting started with an introduction of the recent redeployed Zonal Director, by the Head of NEMA Operations Office, Kaduna and was warmly welcomed by the Commandant.
Discussions focused on harnessing the existing collaboration between NEMA and the Military towards effective disaster’s management in Nigeria.
The Commanding Officer assured the NEMA delegation of the Military’s continuous support in emergency response operations.
Furthermore, the Zonal Director extended warm regards and appreciation from the Director General, NEMA, *Zubaida Umar* , to the Nigeria Military for their partnership during emergency response operations.
The visit strengthens the existing synergy between NEMA and the Military, enhancing their collaborative efforts in disaster management and emergency response.
