In continuation of his drive to promote synergy among critical stakeholders, the Ekiti State Sector Commander FRSC, Barr. Stanley G. Chinedum, on Wednesday 29th April, 2015, paid a courtesy visit to Ekiti Operations Office of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). Barr. Stanley said his visit was to explore areas of common interest with NEMA especially as it affects Disaster Management.
Responding, the Head Ekiti Operations Office, NEMA, Mr. Akiode S. A. O. said the visit was timely especially as it has offered the Agency the opportunity to be familiar with the mandate, programs and challenges of FRSC as it relates to Disaster Management in the country. He added that the two organizations will synergize to review/develop emergency mitigation, prevention and response strategies in Ekiti State by finding common grounds for collaboration.
