The inaugural coordination conference for the upcoming full-scale flood disaster simulation exercise in Kano State (North) and Anambra State (South) was held on Thursday, 29th May 2025, following the Director General’s approval for the exercise.
The meeting brought together Directors from key departments within the Agency, alongside critical stakeholders who form the core of the exercise planning team.
The primary objective of the simulation is to assess the preparedness and response capabilities of disaster management stakeholders, particularly in high-risk areas of the North West and South East regions, ahead of anticipated flood events.
