The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Kaduna Operations Office, on Thursday, 11th September 2025, led a joint flash flood Inspection Exercise in Tukur-Tukur and Anguwan Juma Wards of Zaria Local Government Area, Kaduna State.
The exercise was carried out in collaboration with the Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency (KADSEMA), the Nigerian Red Cross Society, and Zaria Local Government Officials.
The Inspection team included: NEMA, KADSEMA, Nigerian Red Cross, Zaria Local Government officials, including: The Local Government Chairman, Director of Personnel Management (DPM), Executive Secretary (ES) and the Welfare Officer.
The joint Inspection was aimed at evaluating the extent of the flash flood impact, identifying vulnerable areas, and strengthening coordinated response strategies among relevant stakeholders.
