NEMA takes delivery of medical donation from charity organization

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has taken delivery of assorted medicaments and medical consumables worth about half billion Naira donated by MAP International, an international charity organization for medical support to persons affected by disasters in the country, Director General of the Agency Mustapha Habib Ahmed has said.

Ahmed who disclosed this in Abuja at the warehouse containing the medical supplies said that the items would be distributed to medical facilities across the 36 states and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) towards assisting persons affected flood and other disasters.

The items, according to him include prenatal micronutrients supplements, knee walker, syringes, krill oil, sharp collector, bacterine spray, lancet procare, nitrile gloves, nose mask, meditated glasses, disposable barrier gowns, respirator particulate and syringe insulin among others.

The NEMA DG appreciated the charity organization for the donation and acknowledged the supports and collaboration of agencies that facilitated in clearance of the items.

MAP International, is a Christian Charity organization based in the United States of America.
