In bid to ensure a hitch-free Yuletide season and sustain collaboration amongst key stakeholders, NEMA Abuja Operations Office (AOO) organized a one day stakeholders interactive training on the use of extricating tools on-board the Rapid Response Vehicle (RRV)
This training was organized to bring relevant and collaborating stakeholders together to improve on traffic incidence and accident management especially during the Ember months. NEMA as a coordinating agency is fully equipped with advanced equipment for Search and Rescue operations which made it necessary to bring them together to keep abreast with the use of such equipments.
Participants were divided into three groups where they were taught on incident management in road traffic accidents, extrication techniques from accident vehicles and mass casualty handling in road crashes.
Stakeholders in attendance were Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO), FCT- Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and operatives from the various ambulance bays
