NEMA DELIVERS LECTURES ON EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT TO PARTICIPANTS OF ADVANCED DETECTIVE COURSE POLICE STAFF COLLEGE JOS
NEMA North Central Zonal Office was at the Police Staff College Jos to deliver a lecture to officers undergoing Advanced Detective Course . Two hundred (200) Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSPs), Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASPs) as well as their equivalent from sister agencies like the Nigeria Military, Nigeria Security and civil Defense corps, Nigeria Immigration Service,and Federal Road Safety corps are participating in the course
In his paper presentation titled ‘The Role of NEMA in Disaster Management in Nigeria’, the ACSARO Mr. Nuruddeen M. Musa
highlighted some of the Basic Fundamentals of emergency management,roles of various agencies and stakeholders while explaining disaster management policy documents such as Search and Rescue and Epidemic Evacuation Plan, National Disaster Response Plan, National Disaster Risk management plan etc
At the end of the presentation which is an interactive session; questions were asked and answers were provided by the presenter.
