In preparation for an in-house emergency evacuation drill, the exercise planning team led by the Director Search And Rescue Air Cdr Kennedy Rodley Mataluwo conducted a basic safety awareness training for selected safety marshals from all the Departments and Units as well as operatives of Kings Guards that are providing security services at the Agency’s Headquarters.
The lectures dwelled on the following:
1. An overview of workplace and environmental concerns.
2. Roles and responsibilities of safety marshals.
3. Basic First Aid at Home and in the public space.
4. Fire safety and emergency evacuation.
