NEMA Ekiti Operations Office in collaboration with Ondo SEMA conducted an Assessment of buildings affected by Rainstorm Disaster in Emure-Ile town in Owo Local government Area today 20th May 2024.
The incident occurred on 16th of May 2024 as a result of a heavy rainfall which was accompanied by wind.
During the assessment, It was observed that:
1. Over 231 households were affected by the disaster
2. 1 person was injured as a result of the disaster.
3. No lives was lost.
4. Places of worship and other public infrastructures were also affected by the disaster.
