National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) North Central Zonal office Jos plateau State on 24th Jan 2024 delivered medicaments and medical consumables to the victims of recent communal attacks in Bokkos and Barki-Ladi Local Government Areas of Plateau State.
Presenting the items, the Director General of the agency Alh. Mustapha Habib Ahmed said the medicaments and the medical consumables where meant to provide treatment and to cushion the pains the victims were going through.
The DG Who was represented by the North Central Zonal Coordinator mr Eugene Nyelong expressed the sympathy of the Federal Government through NEMA and prayed that such ugly incident never happened in the state again in the future.
Receiving the items on behalf of the beneficiaries, the Governor of the Barr. Caleb mutfwang thanked NEMA and noted that the items will go a long way in alleviating the suffering of the beneficiaries. The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the State (SSG) Arch. Samuel Jatau requested for more relief items to the State as more attacks were currently taking place in Mangu Local Government Areas of the State.
