NEMA North West Zonal staff in collaboration with other stakeholders conducted a joint assessment of various fire incidence that have been reported in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The assessment team discovered that one person has lost his life as a result of the fire while a building which serves as a skill acquisition centre provided to train the youth for self reliance in Zangon Aya was completely burnt.
The incidence were recorded in communities of Zangon Aya, Turunku, Rigachikun, Afaka and Rigasa.
NEMA in collaboration with Nigerian Red Cross Society and other stakeholders had assessed the situation with a view to provide succour to the affected persons of these communities.
