The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Sokoto Sector Commander Corps Commander Adamu Umar Argungu on Tuesday 12th August, 2025, paid a familiarisation visit to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Sokoto Operations Office.
The Sector Commander, who was recently appointed and assumed office as head of the FRSC in Sokoto State, was formally introduced to NEMA Sokoto Operations office.
Welcoming the visitors, the Head of Operations, NEMA Sokoto, Mr. Aliyu Shehu Kafindangi, expressed appreciation to FRSC for the courtesy call and reaffirmed NEMA’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Corps in the areas of road safety, emergency response, and public enlightenment.
The session featured an interactive question-and-answer segment, during which participants discussed and clarified key aspects of operational cooperation between the two agencies.
The visit also included an exhibition of NEMA’s search and rescue equipment, providing the Sector Commander and his team with a first-hand overview of the tools and resources available for joint emergency response efforts in Sokoto State.
