Following reports received of the recent Hail and Thunderstorm in Mani Local Government Area, Katsina state, NEMA North West Zonal office staff with support of the Council Chairman, Mani LGA, Yunusa M. Sani, SEMA officials and some of the affected communities delegated members carried out a joint assessment exercise.
The agency staff discovered that buildings were affected most especially the Government Secondary School. Jani a community in Mani was the worst hit by the incident.
However, about nine blocks of Classrooms including an Exam Hall, Store and Toilets were partially destroyed.
