Director General National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Mustapha Habib Ahmed received a Letter of Commendation and Award of Excellence from the national SERVICOM office.
The Letter and Award were presented to the DG NEMA by the Director Special Duties Hajiya Fatima Suleiman Kasim who had earlier taken delivery of them from the SERVICOM Office.
The Letter of Commendation signed by the National Coordinator/CEO SERVICOM and addressed to the Director General NEMA reads in part that “the entire staff of SERVICOM Office of the President commend your unwavering interest and commitment to improve, customer focused service delivery in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).”
Furthermore, it said that “we are indeed encouraged by your inspiring strive in ensuring that Nigerians receive quality and timely service from the Nigerian State.”
The commendation letter, which was signed by Mrs Nnenna Akajemeli added “we shall continue to count on your support and cooperation as a key stakeholder in the provision of satisfactory services to all citizens in the realization of the essence of Governance.”
In a related development, the SERVCOM Unit of NEMA has been presented with the Award of Excellence for being the 2023 Most Improved PSU (Parastatal Servicom Unit).
Responding, DG NEMA appreciated SERVICOM for the recognition and assured that the management under his leadership will sustain the gains and even further improve on the quality of services rendered by the Agency.
Recalled that NEMA recently inaugurated the SERVICOM Unit and conducted training of the staff on delivery of servicom charter in the Agency.
