The Director NEMA North Central zone Bashir Idris Garga has embarked on a working visit to NEMA Abuja Operations Office and held a staff meeting on the 13th of February, 2024
In his Opening Remarks Head of Operations Comrade Justin Uwazuruonye reiterated the importance of staff punctuality to work and being diligent to duty as the moral burden lies on them to justify what the Agency is doing and commended staff for their diligence so far.
Furthermore, he welcomed them to the second meeting of the year and reminded them of the creation of and postings of Zonal Directors across the six geo-political zones while welcoming the Zonal Director, Alh. Bashir Garga who came to familiarize with the staff of the office.
In his remarks, the zonal Director commended the HAOO for his outstanding achievements in the operations office and highlighted the need for the creation of the zonal directorates which was necessary to reduce the bureaucratic bottlenecks and asked staff to embrace the change.
He also noted that it was necessary to get feedback from staff on their challenges and how to move the Agency forward. He also inspected the office and its equipments and promised to do everything within his office to bring relevant changes to the operations office for the benefit of the Staff and Agency at large.
