National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) South East Zone, led by Acting Zonal Coordinator Mrs. Ngozi Echeazu, visited Igbo-etiti Local Government Council in Enugu State for a stakeholders’ meeting and capacity-building session. They were warmly received by the Acting Chairman, Mrs. Nwagbowo Jennifer (JP). The visit aimed to familiarize NEMA with local stakeholders and enhance disaster management capabilities. Mrs. Echeazu emphasized the importance of collaboration for disaster risk reduction. The training focused on disaster management strategies and prevalent hazards, with interactive sessions for participants. Attendees included local government heads, police representatives, and community leaders.
