The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) South East Zonal Office has distributed relief matrrials worth millions of naira to the Internally Displaced Persons IDP’s in Ochienyim-Amegu, Ikwo LGA of Ebonyi State. The Zonal Coordinator, Major James Eze while delivering the relief items to the affected villages, recalled that the people of Ochienyim-Amegu of Ikwo LGA of Ebonyi State and Adadama in Abi LGA of Cross River have been in a boundary dispute for decades, leading to a bloody clash that left many people death and thousands displaced, while properties worth millions of naira were also destroyed. This necessitated a joint assessment by NEMA South East and Ebonyi SEMA.
