NEMA Receives Another Batch of 147 Stranded Nigerians from Niger Republic.

The National Emergency Management Agency, Kano Territorial Office on Tuesday received another batch of 147 stranded Nigerians from Niamey, Niger Republic.

The returnees arrived aboard SKY MALI Airlines operated by Ethiopian airline B737-400, with registration number UR-CQX around 4:06 p.m. on Tuesday 9th May, 2023.

The returnees are mostly from Lagos, Kano, Katsina, Jigawa and Kaduna, among other states and comprised 77 males, 23 females and 37 children (16 males and 21 females).

All the returnees were received by NEMA, alongside other sister agencies, which include SEMA, Nigeria Red Cross, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and IDPs and DSS etc.
