NEMA North Central Zonal office in collaboration with the Federal and State Fire Service, NPF, VIO and FRSC responded to a tanker incident laden with MOLE(a chemical gum used for drilling fuel). The incident was traced to over speeding leading to lost of control by the driver. All the five passengers in the tanker were rescued with no injury.
Though rescue operation was successful, it lasted for about 6hrs causing heavy traffic as everything was done to prevent an outburst of fire as a result of the inflammable content in the vehicle.
