The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has called for greater collaboration with other humanitarian agencies to assist victims of natural disaster.
Addressing the 2013 World Humanitarian Day Celebration, the Director of Administration, NEMA, Dr Zana Mohammed said 200 million persons are in need of humanitarian assistance every year.
He called on agencies involved in humanitarian services to address the new challenges being experienced daily.
The event focused on the need for greater collaboration among humanitarian workers who provide support for different world challenges.
