Officials of NEMA Lagos Territorial Office were at the State Command of the Nigeria Civil Defence and Security Corps on a courtesy visit to the newly posted Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro in his office.
The visit was aimed at strengthening the existing cordial relationship between the sister Agencies
The Lagos Office of NEMA used the visit to intimate the Commander of the critical roles NSCDC is expected to play in the process of distribution of Presidential grains intervention.
Also, the issue on deployment of armed personnel were raised as directed by the NEMA management.
Mr. Keshinro in his response acknowledged the synergy and pertnership between the sister agencies.
In his response to the deployment of personnel, he stated that he would ask his personnel to carry out risk assessment and analyses and the result would be communicated accordingly.
On the distribution of Presidential Grains intervention, he promised to make all resources available for the exercise
